AUSTRALIA; WWII Military Mail; 1944 Hand-drawn commentary using “Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and a Kangaroo” .This witty cover bears a 1944 3p brown Australia stamp tied to the cover by a 16 FE 44 FIELD POST OFFICE 042 c.d.s. likely in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea posted to Parkes, N.S.W. (some typical staining). Manuscript “AIR MAIL” as well as Purple boxed AUSTRALIAN MILITARY FORCES PASSED BY CENSORS 3294 . The Illustration appears to be signed and has a caption “HI YA DIG”. The three characters appear to be shaking hands .
