A most impressive exhibition piece. The parcel was sent by C.M. Woodford, an amateur naturalist and ethnographer, first Resident Commissioner of the British Solomon Islands Protectorate, to himself just before he left the Solomon Islands to retire to England. The cover is illustrated on page 52 of Don Franks’ book
