CANADA: 1905 Hand-drawn picture of the H.M.S. Ariadne (M65) on postcard .drawn by Burgoyne Edwards in pen and ink with notations about it being the “The Flagship of the North American Squadron” and “How do you like them? ” likely referring to the postcards. Written to Herbert Edwards on the HMS Russell. The card bears a 1902 2c red tied by a MONTREAL SE1 1905 duplex cancel (some soiling). The companion to the prior lot .
