CANADA: 1905 Hand-drawn picture of the U.S.S. Illinois (BB-7) on postcard .drawn by Burgoyne Edwards in pen and ink presumed by his note, based upon a photograph, with notations about its firing power. Written to Herbert Edwards on the HMS Russell. The card bears a 1902 2c red tied by a MONTREAL SE1 1905 duplex cancel (some soling). Good Luck Old Boys”, See the next lot for a companion cover .
