Used to New Zealand: 1934, King George V re-engraved ?Seahorse?, 2s6d chocolate brown and 5s bright rose red ,tied by somewhat blobby ?LONDON/F.S./15 SEP 39 6:15 PM? CDS to legal-size envelope bearing, blue winged ?BY AIR MAIL/PAR AVION? label, addressed to ?The Parisian Neckwear Co. Ltd.? in Auckland. No markings on reverse. (SG 451, 450 ) Est. Cash Val. $200 – 300
Some perf toning but otherwise very fresh. War had just broken out, so routing is unclear. KGVI high values were also issued in Sept. ?39, so this was the final month the ?Seahorses? were current.
