British Commonwealth: 1901 (20 May) Hand Painted “Approved” essay for King Edward VII “Postage and Revenue” Key Plate Design ,with blank country name and value tablet. Stamp size with perforations drawn in, die sunk on thick card (58 x 79 mm) and marked “Approved WTM (?)” with E.F. Harpenden hand stamp on the reverse extremely fine . Purportedly unique.Ex Maisel.
