British Commonwealth: 1906 – 07 De La Rue Color Trials, on both sides of an archival page bearing 27 trials all imperforate (some in blocks) from various countries ,with Trial designs for the Cayman Islands (block of 6), Egypt (2 blocks of 4), Trinidad (pair), Federated Malay States (4 pars and 3 singles) one marked “Single Fugitive Black”. A fugitive color is a pigment that, when exposed to certain environmental conditions such as sunlight, humidity, temperature or even pollution, is less permanent, that is it can change color.
