Description
IRELAND: WW I , 1916 Hand drawn and Illustrated 1916 Military Cover, signed plus 2 other items .Sent to England from Field Post Office D. 32 15 JA 16 c.d.s and red Passed Censor mark with pen & ink drawing of a house. The artist signed the card in the lower right. Two additional, totally hand crafted, unmailed and unaddressed postcards accompanied. First, “Who Will Sing a Song of Spring” pictures cats made from pussy willows using perforated edges. The second uses old stamps to construct a shore scene on a postcard cutout with watercolor .
