Colonial: Staten Island to Great Britain, 1770 Oct Folded Letter Sheet ,(a tear and reinforcing) bearing on reverse light two-line black NEW YORK and 18 AV Bishop mark and British 17 SE Bishop marking receiver, on front “IN” manuscript (Staten Island), and notation that a letter was contained was from a Egbert Schmidt(?) to a Doctor Burton(?) to be read at the Oct. 15 1770 committee meeting.
