Newfoundland: 4 Pence Type A showing the blank areas where the cancel was applied. ,Sperati was not able to copy a mint example of the genuine stamp so he carefully removed the cancel of a used copy and the blank spots were later covered with a fake postmark. Pencil notes on reverse, corner crease, still very fine. Rare. The Baillie Coll had only one normal 4 pence “unused” Ex Walske. Est. Cash Val. $500 – 600
